In this presentation, I want to share a place that deeply inspires me: La Chorrera de Choachí, a natural wonder located near Bogotá.


📍 Location


La Chorrera is located in the municipality of Choachí, Cundinamarca, about 55 minutes from Bogotá.


It's an ideal destination for those who enjoy ecotourism and direct contact with nature.


💧 Description of the Place


La Chorrera is the tallest waterfall in Colombia and one of the tallest in South America, with a 590-meter drop.

During the hike, you can also visit El Chiflón, another smaller but equally beautiful waterfall.


The route passes through Andean forests, viewpoints, and natural trails.


🥾 Recommendations


The hike lasts between 1 and 2 hours. It's recommended to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and a raincoat. If you get up early, you can observe birds and wildlife.
